Scramblegame.org is a collection of English word games and a word-finding tool.
What you can play
The homepage includes the original game hosted by FreeWebArcade and our version of Scrabble. Our game can be played against the computer or by two people on the same device. The other games explore anagrams, neighbouring letters, definitions, required letters, falling tiles, word ladders and timed rack play. Each game page explains its own rules.
Our versions
These games adapt algorithms and word data from our WordGames.club project with a different interface and additional challenges. Game instructions describe the versions hosted here. We test scoring and puzzle rules against concrete examples.
Word lists
The games use local English word lists. Lists differ by game: a broad accepted list for Scrabble (our version) and Word Finder, and smaller puzzle lists for some challenges. A word accepted here may be excluded by a different game or tournament list.
Daily puzzles and progress
Daily boards change at 00:00 UTC. Scores and progress stay in this browser. Clearing site storage removes them. There are no accounts or cloud scoreboards.
